Purpose is to encourage and equip youth students to serve the next generation
Plan is to connect SBC seminary students, 2nd Gen Pastors (English Ministry Context, Youth Ministry)
Ministry #3: KoNext Scholarship for Seminarians
Eligibility
1. You must be a U.S. Citizen.
2. You must be a current or entering student of one of the six SBC Seminaries (Southern, Southeastern, Southwestern, Midwestern, Gateway, New Orleans Baptist Theological seminaries) as of Fall 2021. You must submit a proof of enrollment (Transcript).
3. Priority will be given to students who are currently serving in a ministry for 2nd or 3rd gen Korean Americans.
4. You must be born again Christian and baptized by full immersion.
5. You must have a clear call into a ministry (Korean American context).

Process
1. Submit your application form below by May 18th.
2. You need to send 3 recommendation letters to raypark@jofchurch.com by May 18th.
3. You must send your proof of enrollment/registration for the fall, 2021 by May 18th.
4. Once we narrow down candidate, we will set a time for 30 minutes to 1 hour phone interview.

Once you are selected as a recipient
1. You will receive $1,000 per semester up to 3 years.
2. You will be assigned to a mentor pastor who will meet with you regularly (If you already have a mentor, then we can work with them).
3. You will be expected to attend Korean SBC annual meeting in June to: 1) Meet other scholarship recipients, 2) Participate in seminars and SBC annual meting, 3) share your report to KM pastors.
4. You must submit the proof of enrollment each semester.
